Happy World Book Day!

Happy World Book Day 2018! We have a great selection of book-themed illustrations from our Artistique artists that call for celebration today!

First up, is Sylvie Serpix's illustration for French magazine, Cerveau & Psycho. It accompanies  an article on the morality of using robots in our ever-progressing modern society.

The book theme continues as Sylvie illustrates Claire Gratias' children's book 'T'es Plus Mon Amoureux?'; about two romantic rats who share a love of literature.

French afternoon newspaper, Le Monde, commissioned Sylvie to create this beautiful reading girl with her head buried in a book. The subtle yet atmospheric connection between the two hands helps the accompanying article to visually express how books help writers, artists and scientists in troubled times.

Illustrating  J.M Barrie's Peter Pan, Barbara Malagoli makes us feel nostalgic with her take on one of the best loved classics from children's literature.

Jens Mangusson book cafe illustration is animated and engaging, yet somehow makes us want to curl up someplace cosy with a good read.

Wissen Magazine commissioned Wenjia Tang to create this kooky and clever Shakespeare illustration. On World Book Day, there are so many landmarks in great literature to recognise. William Shakespeare would have been 454 years old if he was celebrating with us today!

Gatson Gonzalez created this striking artwork that was published in ebook '100 Examples of Resilience' for NGO Action Against Hunger.
