Alistair Simmonds

A
Alistair Simmonds comes from a long line of painters and illustrators. Growing up, his grandmother told him stories about his great and great-great-grandfathers’ illustration work. Alistair wished to follow in their footsteps and became a children’s book illustrator. He was a huge fan of the Peanuts growing up and wanted to create stories just like them. Being dyslexic, however, Alistair often struggled to express himself through written subjects. Art allowed him to visualize his ideas and communicate them to others. He has developed three styles of illustration that reflect who he is and the key messages he strives to produce. These styles help demonstrate the point in his illustrations, as well as give clients options when they hire him. View Full Bio
