Kylie Kim is an illustrator based in Los Angeles. Growing up, she was obsessed with illustrations in picture books illustrated by French cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempé, and she wanted to create stories like ‘Le Petit Nicolas’. Kylie studied graphic design at University and worked as a graphic designer for eight years. In 2020, decided to follow her childhood dream and started a new career as a freelance illustrator. Her work focuses on details and vibrant color palettes. She has a desire to create heartwarming stories and to draw peaceful scenes inspired by books from her childhood, traveling, and modern architecture in California.
