Graeme is a London-based illustrator from Ireland, with a background in animation. His illustrations are focused on publishing, editorial, travel and lifestyle. He predominantly works with Photoshop, but occasionally he will use traditional mediums such as acrylic, ink and watercolour for mark making.

Graeme is heavily influenced by UPA animation, with the blocky and vivid colour, the fluidity and stylised nature of Cartoon Network, and the gorgeous backgrounds of old Disney films.

While studying animation at the University for the Creative Arts, he experimented in photography, collage and storytelling. Having studied animation means his illustrations are detail-oriented, and that they tell stories, often using lots and lots of punchy colour.

Growing up in rural Ireland has a huge influence on Graeme's illustrations as he loves to draw nature-based scenes abundant within the Emerald Isle. When he’s not illustrating, he can be found editing photos of landscapes, painting canvases or working on some crazy creative prompt challenge. Graeme is also an avid Gardner… when the weather allows it!
