HarperCollins asked us to create the book cover illustrations for both the hardback and paperback editions of Boudicca by P.C. Cast. The goal was to give both covers a clear, shared look while still making each one feel different.
We helped shape the design by advising on layout, colour, and focus, so the two covers worked together without repeating the same image. We worked closely with the illustrator and the publishing team, offering alternative ideas when needed and making sure the artwork felt historically accurate.
By sharing clear options at key stages and preparing the artwork to work across different formats, we made approvals easier and reduced risk during production. The final result was a set of book covers that felt consistent, flexible, and well suited to both editions.
